This is a great post on the benefits of social media for domainers. I'm part of the Afternic social media groups…good info…even their website is starting to take shape.

Hey Mark very nice write-up here. I have started 3 “domain business” over the last couple of years (selling 2 and one is for sale now: http://bit.ly/awCyno …it includes the largest facebook domain name group of over 2,000 members) basically having good success with building up targeted buyers via Twitter & Facebook. Social networking has been the majority of my sales on a regular basis, not to mention that I have also made connections to broker premium domain names with successful private deals. I have seen this trend coming for a long time (I sort of pride myself as being one of the first “domainers” to tweet out domain names for sale) :P But you are nailing it on the head with what you just mentioned here… well done!

I must agree with Francois. I'm fairly new to domaining, so I've only recently been using social networks to try selling domains. My only sales so far have been through auction sites.

There is an option missing in your poll so I cannot play.
I tried to sell domains through social network but never succeed.
Actually this option is not available.
The last one let suggest one never tried, it's not the case.
