Hello! You blog is very interesting! But I have an imformation that wdc votes do not necessarily matter, interlink will be making a selection they feel will be the most successful. However, it is interesting to see which future domains are getting the most votes.

Trackbacks are good if they are legitimate, that means you're getting a backlink. If someone has an automated blog sending a trackback for every article, I would delete it from displaying.

Do you recommend that I remove all the trackbacks comming from this site? I suffered a dropdown of about 40 places on google ranking. COuld it be because of this trackback?

I got a question that I think you can help me with Mark. What about trackbacks? are they good or not? I understand that you have to be careful not to let a linkfarm trackback. But what if one site that doesn't seem to be a link farm trackbacks to almost every article on my blog?

I myselve do not have a problem to link out to another blog that has a great article on a relevant topic. Like you Mark I got some positive “and unexpected” traffic from it. But did not do a review yet of a company. So you gave me an idea here….

I think I do not have to mention that you have a great blog going on here….

This is more of a benefit to bloggers who have shared their opinions or news coverage about companies. I don't think a simple comment on Twitter will attract them to visit your site unless a link to a blog post is included.

Great post. And you're right. Too many people are scared of linking out and concentrate instead on getting the inbound links. But those outbound links can do you some powerful good. :)
