I think I would just stick with a regular .com name…not to mention that I don't have thousands of dollars lying around for hosting.

I was out shopping for a baby gift the other day. It’s been a long time since I bought baby stuff since my kids are all teens now. I couldn’t believe how expensive some of the items are. Well, not that they were cheap back then, but they certainly didn’t cost as much.

I would buy that as an option. It actually sounds good. and it sounds a bit unique, though some people might not find the site that credible cause its not familiar.

My first inclinatioin was to vote an emphatic, “no.” and not even investigate .cm names that may be available. Upon reflection, however, I can see some value and financial potential in acquiring popular terms and phrases, receiving traffic from those who omit the 'o' in .com. Weighing the pros and cons, I think that I will still sit on the sidelines

However, I, too, believe that if there was money in “them thar hills,” the key players in the domain field would somehow keep such domain names for themselves, or wait for the perceived value to increase, hoping to ignite bidding wars.
