I hear ya. Fortunately I grabbed two numbers, one with a cool name and the other for local but still cool ###-508-5008.

this could be a really cool facility for the Iphone and is crying out for something like this. I agree with another poster that it seems like its going to be released in the US which is pretty sad as I am from Europe…ahwell just have ti wait and see

For those of us who want to transfer an existing number over to Google voice, do you think it is better to sit and wait until that option becomes available, versus obtaining a Google number as soon as it becomes available? I have an old land line number that I don’t want to give up, but rarely use. Transferring that number to Google Voice could be cost effective.
