I was wondering whether there are any commissions imposed if a domain is posted for sale (auction, buy it now, make offer, etc.) and a transaction is consummated.

Thank you

Hello,

You mentioned that usage of the DotSauce Marketplace is free (excluding certain promotional upsells that may be added later). A seller may choose not to use PayPal and state payment methods within their listing or work out payment arrangements directly with buyer.
Thanks DomainTweeter for your comments and for posting your first domain sale already! :) Will take your suggestion into consideration for future updates.

In response to the question above, the default payment processor is PayPal.

A seller may choose not to use PayPal and state payment methods within their listing or work out payment arrangements directly with buyer.

Thanks DomainTweeter for your comments and for posting your first domain sale already! :) Will take your suggestion into consideration for future updates.

By: Mark Fulton

<guid

I'm wondering how the payment / transfer process works for buyers & sellers of domains. Does DotSauce have a system in place for that or is it something buyer & seller need to arrange?

I was pleased to see that the names listed are good quality names with reasonable prices. One of the biggest problems with the existing marketplaces (Sedo, Afternic, etc.) is that since listings are free, they tend to get flooded with junk domains that are barely worth a registration fee.
I noticed that you'll be using user feedback ratings and domain stats. It would be great if this could be dynamically incorporated into your listing algorithm, rewarding users who post good names at reasonable prices by giving their names higher visibility.
Thanks and congratulations on your launch!

Nice site! It’s great to see a new channel to buy and sell domains.
