Don’t forget the http://www.USPTO.gov to check for prior trademark registrations and http://www.domainfight.net to see if there is a history of cybersquatting allegations concerning the domain or the seller. Making sure there are no trademark issues is especially important if you plan on developing the domain. you would be shocked at how many people/companies develop domain names that conflict with prior trademark registrations, and then have to completely re-brand. Great list ….
