.me sounds like a ‘fun’ extension that ‘individuals’ would want to use, but first the registration fee will have to drop significantly before the average person can justify registering/developing a .me over a .com
I plan on going after a few but I wouldn’t expect everyone with a MySpace page to run out and pay $100 bucks for one anytime soon…
.me is going to be a tough sale unless lots of marketing (beyond godaddy) goes into it. And quite frankly, I can’t see the extension going too far (or too fast) with such high barriers to entry.

If the landrush price is $49 per year… can I assume it’s going to be cheaper starting mid July?
I can see a few catchy words to use, but I have to agree with Jamie, I don’t see this one really taking off, even if the price comes down.
