Wow, nice list. I need to start utilizing these resources instead of throwing darts at domain names that only I think will work.

Excellent list! As someone who has been looking into buying older names I have now bookmarked it and will be coming back when its time.

  8. Estibot.com Says:

Nice list of tools. One is missing: Estibot.com available domain name finder. There are two options: Mine 10,000 long-tail search results and click to check availability, or let the script do the work and just give a keyword or a string, and it will find available domain names with search popularity. In my (biased) opinion this is by far the most effective suite of name finding tools

    Thanks

I wanted to post some success I have had with this new domain name appraisal website. I buy, develope and then sell 5-6 websites per year. Generally I get a domain name appraisal to see where I should price it. The various ‘free’ ‘robot’ appraisals can vary by thousands of dollars. My last 3 sites I have been using WeValuer.com as my main domain valuer and they have been within about 15% of the actual selling price on Sedo. Though I could pass this on. Good luck to everyone!

I would also suggest adding http://www.olddomains.net - open database with deleted domains. It’s free, updated daily and contains not only the domain list but alsa all the infos about back links, delicious bookmarks, previous traffic and content.
