Nice collection of resources Mark. I bookmarked it and I’m sure others will as well. I appreciate the mention too.

[…] This blog is just one of many sites providing services in the available domain names space. DotSauce.com Magazine put together a fine collection of available domain resources in their latest blog post. The article references a variety of forums, newsletters, free web based tools, software and paid services, all closely related to available or expired domain names. Wow, nice list. I need to start utilizing these resources instead of throwing darts at domain names that only I think will work.

Excellent list! As someone who has been looking into buying older names I have now bookmarked it and will be coming back when its time.

Nice list of tools. One is missing: Estibot.com available domain name finder. There are two options: Mine 10,000 long-tail search results and click to check availability, or let the script do the work and just give a keyword or a string, and it will find available domain names with search popularity. In my (biased) opinion this is by far the most effective suite of name finding tools
Thanks
