I’m a big fan of this trend toward functional themes, and this one looks particularly nice. When compared to a CMS, blog software seems to be more geared to content that gets updated often, and it is nice to see WordPress’s capabilities expanded.

I just started using a Wordpress blog on my site and I will be taking a look at this for my clients. The price point makes it really easy to get this setup for doing online commerce.

I am very interested in this. My biggest question would be is there a choice of themes for wordpress that would be best for creating an ecommerce site? Google loves wordpress.
Please email me with information and thanks for being a “dofollower”.

The more time that is spent dissecting, analyzing, and critiquing a design by the wrong kinds of people the worse that design gets. The same trend applies to the number of people involved in the design process.
Thx a lot for infomation!

To answer some of the questions above…
This theme has been tested to work on Wordpress all the way up to version 2.7. It’s designed using sound methods, so it shouldn’t ever break as new Wordpress version releases are made, unless Wordpress goes an entirely new direction and leaves most WP themes broken. (That’s not likely)
Also, there is a backend Product Manager plugin that’s included with Market that allows you to easily manage adding/editing/deleting products through the Wordpress administration area. The Product Manager adds a new “Products” tab to the existing menu. Very easy.
You can get the entire Market system uploaded and running in less than 5 mintues. (I did a complete Market install in 50 seconds — but I’ve done it a few times before.) It’s very quick and easy.

Since this is so easy to install, how about setting up a demo site for us.
I am not going to the trouble of installing software, much less buying it, based on such a small amount of information.

Can I tag this on to an existing Wordpress site? Would I just do another install in a different directory? I only need the store not the other stuff. How customizable is the “look”? I would like it to look more like my existing theme.
