My biggest question about the market for these names is how many of these sales are going to end users? Prices are obviously going up, but it seems like a lot of this is being driven by the excitement of domain owners themselves.

That certainly doesn’t mean these names aren’t worth what people are paying – but I don’t see a lot of real sites being built on these domains unless they are brandable words.
