Survey Predicts Large Rise in Online Marketing for 2008
While perusing Mixx, my new favorite social link sharing website, I came across a report of the “2008 Marketing Priorities and Plans” survey by B2B Magazine. Good news for web developers and domainers!
Here are some encouraging statistics from the report:
- 60.1% of marketers plan to increase their overall marketing budgets.
- 79.1% of marketers planning to boost their online budgets.
- 74% of marketers plan to increase web site development.
- 64.3% of marketers will increase search engine marketing.
- 26.2% of marketers will increase social media networking/marketing.
I would have expected to see the social marketing numbers to be alot higher, especially with new Facebook advertising opportunities. The complete story, titled Marketing Budgets, online to rise in 2008, will be published in BtoB and BtoBonline.com on Monday, December 10, 2007.

It simply means many are now becoming aware of the positive effect of online advertisement. This is also a great news especially to those sector making money through different online marketing services that they offer like outsourcing companies.
